Miranda Jade Plater wanted to create a company that would provide truly luxury, premium hair (Grade 5A) to women throughout the world, with wide selections, prompt shipping, great customer service AND while giving back. Enter, Limelight Extensions. Jade created the Limelight Extensions company to offer hand-selected premium hair extensions in a variety of styles, textures and lengths for women who want only the best hair that will ensure their position in the limelight, whether at work or at play.

Jade, influenced by her mother, Malesa Plater, is a philanthropist at heart. As such, is a staunch believer in “to whom much is given much is required.” Through Limelight Extensions, Jade and Malesa contribute to a variety of charitable organizations throughout the country to ensure that all women feel beautiful, and also will feature a program in which they offer one free monthly makeover (hair and makeup) each month to a deserving woman in the Detroit area.
